Best show ever on Paramount is Taylor Tomlinson as the host of a whole new version of late night “fake game show” that features a fantastic and delightful ever changing cast of comedians who appear and do their best to keep up with the fun and fast internet content that the fake games are created from. At a certain part of the show it becomes the talk show portion and Taylor brings out an adorable tiny couch and asks the starring crew wacky, sometimes deep and silly questions.
So…..loving tiny things, I bought myself a tiny sea foam couch so I can initiate a talk show portion of any evening at our own home. This bit made me think about how delightful it always is to talk and listen to people and their ideas and takes on things. I think it is really what connects us as people. If you throw in yummy food and beverages it makes the conversation that much richer and fantastic. This art piece is inspired by my hope that we can all get together more often and hear what we are all thinking, pondering and dreaming about. It’s time for us to talk! Cheers kind people!!!
Each custom stretched canvas begins with a 12-colour Giclée print, produced from a choice of substrates. We then make a custom wooden frame from European knotless pine - in any size needed up to a maximum of 3 metres - and stretch the rolled canvas print over it.
We use finger jointed canvas frames to create corner tension which helps to resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden ‘wedges’ to each corner; ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future years.
All canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimize the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
