Happy Pride month friends! Pride means to me that people can safe and free to be who they want to be. Love is love is a lovely sentiment, but Pride is much more than than a statement that is based in relationships. It is the belief that we can all feel safe to live into the fullest expression of ourselves in all the infinite possibilities of humanity. The more this can happen in the world, the better this world will be.
Beyond being able to be yourself without fear, it should be about how we can all embrace each other fully for the amazing ways we are meant to me. How about we pour love on each other not just this month but always? Pride is every day.
Each custom stretched canvas begins with a 12-colour Giclée print, produced from a choice of substrates. We then make a custom wooden frame from European knotless pine - in any size needed up to a maximum of 3 metres - and stretch the rolled canvas print over it.
We use finger jointed canvas frames to create corner tension which helps to resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden ‘wedges’ to each corner; ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future years.
All canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimize the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
