Picnic In Paris Unframed Canvas Wall Art 30x30"
Ever been on a fun art journey? Beloved friends @jessicapoundstone and company were in Paris and nabbed a photo of their gorgeous dejeuner. I thought it would be a lark to paint it, so I did and gave it to them as a little gift. Then I got inspired to do an abstract version of the lunch and this is what happened! Wild! Look what can happen when you allow yourself to go on unexpected paths! Wheeee!
Each custom stretched canvas begins with a 12-colour Giclée print, produced from a choice of substrates. We then make a custom wooden frame from European knotless pine - in any size needed up to a maximum of 3 metres - and stretch the rolled canvas print over it.
We use finger jointed canvas frames to create corner tension which helps to resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden ‘wedges’ to each corner; ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future years.
All canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimize the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
