Try A Squeeze Fine Art Print

from $100.00

Back in October 1982 an incredible band called Squeeze released an album called Singles-45’s and under with lyrics written by Chris Difford and music by Glenn Tilbrook who were the guitarists and the vocalists. Strangely when you research them, they started their band in the 1970s but broke up that same year that this magic record was released? What the what?

We loved this album so very much and let me tell you, these songs stand up to the test of time with thoughtful fun and engaging lyrics and slapping melodies. Still so good! Check out their music if you haven’t had the pleasure. The band reformed in 1985 and brad.newman and I got to see them here in PDX. Yippee! They played the songs straight off the record which is I think what people really wanted, and they delivered. Actually they are playing again in PDX this week, but we missed the chance to get tickets for this one.

I was thinking about this band and was also thinking about the eighties when bright saturated and intense colors were the order of the day. In order to honor this band and this truly iconic album I am offering these intensely colorful tableaus. Zoom into see the colorful texture of the paper. The green and red one is called Try a Squeeze, the green and purple on is called Try a Jolt, and the red and blue one is called Try a Bump! They are delightful alone or in a duo or trio together. They will catch everyone’s attention on your walls, whether you choose one small or large! Get yourself a dose of bright vibrant color and give yourself a squeeze! Cheers kind people! #squeeze #chrisdifford #glenntilbrook #fineartprints #abstractart
