Don't Be An Empty Cup Fine Art Print
Hello kind people! Today’s art is inspired by the phrase “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” This is a similar quote to putting your own oxygen mask on first before taking care of others. I believe these to be very true words. We all can have the best intentions to do our best work, to be there for others, to support everyone around us, but if our cup is empty and depleted, we aren’t going to go very far in our efforts.
For some, the concept of self-care is foreign as they have been trained their whole lives that self sacrifice is the ultimate in love and that you give all you have until there is nothing left. I was one of those people, but have learned finally how important it is to take care of yourself and make sure your cup or tank is full, because then everyone gets the best version of you, NOT the one that is exhausted, worn out, a little cranky, a little overwhelmed. That is a win for everyone!!!
Let these glowing mirror images of cups of different sizes remind you to make sure that your inner cup is happy, well and feels ready to take on the world and help everyone that would benefit from your kindness and support. I’m not a big fan of new years resolutions as those fade so quickly, I am more into how to live every day, and each day is a new page to explore. Let’s do it kind people, let’s make sure we are in great shape so we can pour our love out on others in the best way possible! Cheers and love! #emptycup #tankhalffull #selfcare #fillyourcup #pourlove #glowing #takeontheworld #abstractart #fineartprints #bestversionofyou #giveyourbestself
