Talking With Your Body Fine Art Print
I really love music and one of the constants in my life since 1983 has been the band the Talking Heads @talkingheadsofficial. In 1983 I went to Tower Records and bought as many of their cassette tapes I could find and afford. Look how very old I am, LOL! One of my favorites was Talking Heads: 77 which I literally attempted to wear out by playing it over and over and over. It was released on September 16 in 1977.
We used Uh-Oh Love Comes to Town as our exit song in our wedding celebration. Every Thanksgiving day we watch The Band farewell documentary The Last Waltz (@martinscorses_) and then Stop Making Sense, the Talking Heads concert film by Jonathan Demme (RIP). We created an event over the 40 year release of the Stop Making Sense album, went to buy the vinyl as a group and then had dinner. Of course when the @holosceneportland hosted a Stop Making Sense dance party on 12/23/23 we had to go!!! SO MUCH FREAKING FUN!
I was reliving the joy of that experience and it gave me the idea to take a recent art piece that I love and treat it with the colors of that Once in a Lifetime dance party. It turned out great! Our unframed fine art prints are hand rolled in protective tissue paper and then shipped in extra thick cardboard tubes, unless they are 15x20cm and being delivered in the UK, or A4 or smaller and being delivered in mainland Europe (in which case they are shipped in thick cardboard envelopes).
