Baby Bring Me Stuff Fine Art Print
It’s the time of year where people want to give nice things to ones they love. One of my fav songs is Baby Drugs by Tristen @tristentristen from the album Charlatans at the Garden Gate. It is an extreme case of wanting to keep a loved one feeling happy at all costs and doing whatever it takes, maybe flying to Vegas to buy them drugs?
I don’t recommend that generally, as a good approach to a partner with an addiction, but there is something compelling about this song. It does capture the love in a relationship and things we may do for each other in a loving way, but that may not be best for that person? Great example of enablement? I listened to this song HARD during the pandemic times, and listening to it again today, I still love the hell out of it. Highly recommend checking it out! You will enjoy, I promise!
To every pull, there is a pusher
To get you right back where you started from
I was only wanting to show you my love (oh-oh-oh)
I was only wanting to show you my love (oh-oh-oh)
See? Just a simple and catchy song about LOVE.
This art is inspired by the color palette of the album that this song came from, and also captures the push and pull of our emotions when we are in a relationship with complexity and when we are unsure about what the best thing we can do to really help our loved one?
Here is to the complexity of love and figuring it out best we can! Cheers! #tristen #babydrugs #charlatansatthegardengate #fineartprints #interiordesign #vegas #pandemictimes #enablement #abstractart
