Let's Be Modern Lovers Fine Art Print
Another incredible musician that I got to explore with @brad.newman was the ever delightful Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers. Saw them the first time in college days at @wowhall and than again saw Jonathan a number of times through the years, including last year, and every time has been sheer magic! Jonathan has been around the proto-punk music scene since the early seventies and was peers and connected with so many likewise musical greats like the Velvet Underground and the Talking Heads @talkingheadsofficial.
Love them so much created a playlist all around the song Twilight in Magic and made friends go on a walking tour based on all the locations. The friends weren’t fans of Jonathan, but they were lucky in my opinion to be with us on that tour.
What is so special and unique about Jonathan is the absolutely childlike joy and play and energy that shows up in every one of their songs. You cannot help but be brought along on this incredible musical playtime! If you some how missed hearing this incredible music it isn’t too late to check them out! Favorites of mine are New England, Summer Feeling, I Was Dancing in a Lesbian Bar, Martians, Rocking Rocking Leprechauns, Velvet Underground, Dodge Veg-O-Matic. So many GEMS!!!

Our unframed fine art prints are hand rolled in protective tissue paper and then shipped in extra thick cardboard tubes, unless they are 15x20cm and being delivered in the UK, or A4 or smaller and being delivered in mainland Europe (in which case they are shipped in thick cardboard envelopes).
