Walking Through Stained Glass Framed Canvas Wall Art
Enjoyed a lovely trip to Lyon France and visited the Lyon Cathedral which had some beautiful stained glass inside it as many cathedrals do. Apparently when King Henri IV of Navarre visited Lyon, to meet his fiancée, the Italian Marie de Medici, on her way from Marseille, Henri approved of Marie at FIRST sight (?) and married her straight away in Lyon cathedral. Backstory is that Henri had some serious debts and the dowry that Marie was packing solved his financial woes! FYI, Henri died in 1610 due to an assassination. Wow, what a story! I'm always inspired by stained glass in ancient spaces as it has SEEN SOME SH*T! There is something comforting about the steadfast nature of the blue and the golden tones in the stained glass in the Lyon Cathedral and it inspired me to create this art.
Let it remind us that in within each day life is still complicated but the sky and the sun continue on and we can bring our best selves to any situation and do the best we can with what we have at hand to live and love and solve our day to day problems. Let's do it kind people! Cheers and hugs! #lyoncathedral #lyon #france #sunandsky #blueandgold #seensomeshit #solveourproblems #bringyourbestself #letsdoit#fineartprints #abstractart #sacred #magicmoments #joy #celebration
We produce all of our custom canvas prints using a 12-colour Giclée print process for a premium, museum-quality finish.
All canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimise the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
Our unframed fine art prints are hand rolled in protective tissue paper and then shipped in extra thick cardboard tubes, unless they are 15x20cm and being delivered in the UK, or A4 or smaller and being delivered in mainland Europe (in which case they are shipped in thick cardboard envelopes).
