Fitting In Eco Friendly Maple Wood Prints
More art related to music coming your way. One of our all time family favorite bands is Hot Chip @hot.chip they formed in London in 2000, we got to see them in PDX in 2008 and we all lost our collective minds over that show.
So many of their songs are on our always go to playlists, like Colours, Boy From School, Ready for the Floor, Over and Over, and one of my greatest loves is a stellar cover they did of Bruce Springsteen’s Dancing in the Dark, and so many more! Check them out if you don’t know them. You are gonna love it!
Their song Boy from School reminded me how sometimes in our lives are are trying to fit in with what is happening around us.
We try but we didn't have long
We try but we don't belong
We try but we didn't have long
We try but we don't belong
It might be a school or a job situation, or joining a club or a book group? I remember at that Hot Chip concert all I wanted to do was to get out there on the dance floor and groove with my glow sticks! Maybe when times are uncertain that is what we should do! Get out there and dance, that will sort it everything out. LOL!
This art is meant to capture those times where we aren’t sure who is in our corner and who isn’t. How will we find our people that will help us to navigate the new and the unknown? May you find your people during those times and may the glow sticks always be at the ready for you when you want to dance! Cheers kind people! #hotchip #colours #boyfromschool #readyforthefloor #overandover #brucespringsteen #dancinginthedark #finearatprints #pdx #abstractart #london #glowsticks #danceyourassoff
Includes unique signature for authenticity.
Each of our maple wood custom panels is printed directly onto 1/2" thick maple surfaced wood, giving a warm and natural looking print that’s also eco-friendly. The stunning wood grain shows through the light or non printed areas of the image, producing a natural warm tone and retro vintage feel.
All panels are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimise the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each panel is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
