Saint Syndrome Shines Eco Friendly Maple Wood Prints
This art piece has been created to honor the art of drag and to honor one of my favorite drag performers Saint Syndrome. They are an absolutely delightful and incredibly talented musician who calls themselves the lowest bass with the smallest waist! I am a big fan of the art of drag and how it should remind us that everyone deserves to be seen, heard and celebrated!
One of my favorite quotes about drag is from Ru Paul, “The deeper level of drag is all about, you’re born naked and the rest is drag. And that’s political, it’s very punk rock, it’s very radical. It’s this idea that you are not your body. You are an extension of the power that created the whole universe. That’s drag. We are all God in drag.”
Because the world is far from a perfect place, and we aren’t evolved enough yet to embrace each other for who we are, I will donate 10% of the profits of any of the Saint Syndrome art and items to a charity called Rainbow Railroad. Read more and /r donate here with no fees: https://www.rainbowrailroad.org/ In countries around the world, LGBTQI+ people face violence and oppression simply because of who they love or who they are. Rainbow Railroad helps them get to safety. There are also donation buttons to this worthwhile org on my about page and on the Digital Art page.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Each of our maple wood custom panels is printed directly onto 1/2" thick maple surfaced wood, giving a warm and natural looking print that’s also eco-friendly. The stunning wood grain shows through the light or non printed areas of the image, producing a natural warm tone and retro vintage feel.
All panels are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimise the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each panel is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
